Viewing the List of Unreadable PDF MSDS Files

Note: This feature is available only to administrators.

The list of "unreadable" PDF MSDS files checks your system and shows all MSDS files of the PDF format that—while perhaps they can be successfully viewed on-screen—cannot be printed in DolphinRTK, either individually or in an MSDS book. This is usually because the file is corrupted, security-blocked, or too large. The list of unreadable files shows the error found in each file so you can address the problem and replace the current file with a "readable" one.

Note: The check performed by this list is also performed when you upload a PDF MSDS file to a product. Whenever you upload an unreadable PDF, you are alerted immediately.

To view the list of unreadable PDF MSDS files:

Starting at the Administration page (How do I get there?), do the following:

Under Information, click List of unreadable PDF MSDS files.

DolphinRTK checks your system for unreadable PDF MSDS files. When this check is complete, all unreadable files are listed. The list includes each file's File Number and the Error making it unreadable. Click any file number to open its product in a new window.
